is anybody else as obsessed with this site as I am?

for the uninitiated, Poupeegirl is like the bastard child of Candybar and Gaia Online. like Candybar, you get an adorable, large-size avatar to dress up, but like Gaia, the currency to buy things for your avatar to wear comes from community involvement.

what's the community involvement? well, taking photos of your cute clothes and accessories and uploading them, and then commenting on other people's cute clothes and accessories.

there's a kind of interesting social dynamic since most of the userbase is Japanese. this means that a lot of comments I leave consist of only emoticons. >_>

and playing with Poupeegirl is maddening because you can get such inconsistent results. if you upload too many photos, you don't get currency. if you try to trade too many items for shells, you get no shells and you lose the item. but I don't seem to mind.

anyway, I guess I'm posting this 'cause it'd be nice to make some Poupee buddies, and I know I can't be the ONLY one hooked.
