did you know there was a time where virtually all I drew was animals? :B I have to apologize to my watchers who are so good with animals and animal antomy, 'cause none of the pictures of deer I found were of the right pose so I had to kinda wing this one.

anyway, word on the street is I have a new character! this is Liadhan as a child with her .. uh .. mother. I haven't exactly worked it out. That's my take on a celestial deer. some notes on that:

- I know female deer don't have antlers. but if you're going to basically be a deer-god, who said you couldn't?
- I researched magical deer in mythology and I found some references to deer with five antlers .. I tried that at first but the head just looked too overloaded.
- referring somewhat to a unicorn in this anatomy, too, what with the third horn and the (traditonally) unicorn-style tail.

I was gonna do something with moss or flowers growing on the antlers or something but I think I'm happy with it as it stands.

I may be moving this to scraps soon, considering this drawing was kinda fast.
