this is half of the splash for the new webspace Dan and I are sharing. (this is his half, natch.
 )I'm proud enough of this that I had to submit it. this is outside of my comfort range in so many ways: it features an animal, it's relatively realistically rendered, I was trying to achieve an illustration with a faux-vector look, and most of all, I limited myself to a palette of 8 or 9 colors for the wolf and blended nothing. drawn from several references of wolves and dogs in openCanvas 2.24E. I guess I used Elements for the radial gradient and PSP for the lettering there. |
